FAQ’s

What makes this a one-of-a-kind experience?

It’s not every day that you get the chance to be part of designing a whiskey recipe and hand crafting your own barrel of Whiskey. With Copper Run’s experience and help this can become a reality! Your barrel will be dated and stamped with your name. The end result, your bottles of whiskey, will be sourced directly from your barrel and will carry your signature label – so there’s no other whiskey like yours.

What do you mean by “Design a Whiskey recipe”?

There are many types of whiskies: Bourbon, Corn, Malt, Rye, Wheat, Blended, Light, Spirit whiskey, Specialty Grains etc. We will discuss possible options with you and help you develop a recipe that meets your taste criteria. This recipe will be your own exclusive recipe and we will not share it with anyone else!

Can I personalize the bottles of whiskey from my barrel?

Yes, but some restrictions apply. The Copper Run Distillery logo has to be present along with other details about the type of spirit, origin etc. The bottle type we offer is the Nordic and the label shape and graphics are pre-designed. If there is a need for a different presentation, a different label or bottle then additional expenses may apply.
